Reignite or Begin Your New Year Resolutions with Ritual Cacao
Our simple January Cacao Ritual can help you reignite your dreams/intentions/resolutions, or begin them now, if life moved faster than you did.
What You’ll Need
A cup of Ritual Cacao
A journal and pen
A quiet, comfortable space
Step 1. Prepare your Cacao and Sacred Space
Prepare your cup of Ritual Cacao with a ceremonial dose of 42gms
Sit comfortably, and take a few slow breaths to let yourself relax and come into the present moment.
Ask the Cacao Spirit to give you the clarity, messages and guidance you need, and then drink your cacao slowly. Mindfully take each sip, and feel it’s warmth and nourishment flowing around your body and opening your heart, so you can hear it’s messages.
Step 2. Vision your Dreams
Write down the resolutions, intentions, or dreams you have for this year.
Close your eyes and vision yourself effortlessly manifesting them, and breaking through any old patterns or limitations that have been holding you back.
Imagine your life, and yourself, as if your dreams have been realised, and literally feel the sensations of what that would FEEL like in all the cells of your body.
Once you have fully embodied the vision, and totally aligned with it, without doubt, come back to the room and open your eyes.
Step 3. Ignite or Begin
Open your journal and ask yourself:
What do I need to prioritise this month?
What do I need to complete this month?
What action do I need to take this month?
How can I feel more empowered this month?
Do some free flow writing to see what messages the Cacao Spirit has for you. You may be surprised at what guidance and inner wisdom comes flowing out.
Step 4. Let It Settle
Close your journal and take one slow breath in. One slow breath out.
Thank the Cacao Spirit for her guidance and clarity.
Step 5. Follow your Intuition
Listen to your intuition in the following weeks and be sure to follow it, however irrational it may seem. The more you follow and action your intuition, the stronger it gets.
Step 6. Have an Attitude of Gratitude
Spend five minutes every morning when you wake up feeling grateful for everything that will happen that day and then everything that did happen in the evening when you go to bed. This sets the intention for the day and helps to let go each night so the new day is free from the clutter of yesterday.
