This in depth Shamanic Training is for those who want to work with Cacao as a Master Plant Medicine.
There are many cacao trainings available, but this is the only one that honours cacao as a Master Plant Medicine, guiding you to develop a direct and respectful relationship with the Spirit of Cacao.
This unique, in-depth and transformative training is for those who feel called to support others through these times of change, guided by a Plant Medicine we wholeheartedly believe can be a powerful wellbeing remedy.
Blending practical tools, clear theory, and shamanic practices, this training is for anyone ready to build a deep, long-lasting relationship with Cacao, and to work with Ritual Cacao in helping us fulfil our mission.
Across the training, you’ll learn how to hold safe, grounded ceremonial spaces with integrity, deepen your own connection, while gaining the confidence to guide others through ritual, ceremony, and intentional practice.
This is about more than learning about Cacao; it’s about becoming a clear channel for its wisdom, and bringing that into your work in a way that’s authentic, respectful, and embodied.
Guided by Rebekah - a trained Shaman with 20+ years experience working with Plant Medicines, you will be given everything you need to be part of Cacao’s mission to spread her heartfelt medicine around the world.

Afternoon: Temazcal (Sweat Lodge)
A traditional Native American purification ritual to release what no longer serves and reconnect with your inner strength. We build the Temazcal and fire together, and spend time around the fire offering tobacco and preparing for the ritual.
Evening: Sharing our Icaros
Sharing your Icaros or something more powerful.

We come together to integrate, share insights, honour the journey, and gently transition back into daily life.

Fourteen years ago, after an Ayahuasca Ceremony in 2012, Rebekah was given the message to find Cacao and bring it back to Europe, as an essential medicine for the West.
Travelling up from the Peruvian Amazon and finding it in Guatemala, the Mayan heartland, she left behind all her possessions swapping them for kilos of Cacao. She was one of the first to bring ceremonial-grade cacao to the UK, and start holding regular cacao ceremonies.
Rebekah has an intimate connection with the Spirit of Cacao and, as an experienced Plant Medicine Shaman of 28 years, she is an expert at holding safe and supported space.

This training will also set you up as a Ritual Cacao Cacaoista®, so you can be part of Cacao’s mission to spread her medicine around the world.

The Venue
Amara Valley is a peaceful, off-grid retreat center nestled in an ancient oak forest near Banyoles, just 1.5 hours from Barcelona. This beautifully restored Catalan farmhouse blends rustic charm with modern comforts, offering cozy accommodations, gourmet vegetarian/vegan meals made with local produce, and stunning indoor and outdoor spaces.
With facilities like a 120m² yoga shala, meditation room, workshop areas, a pool, and a sauna, it’s the perfect place to relax and recharge. Surrounded by 10 hectares of organic gardens and serene forest, Amara Valley is an invitation to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Amara is highly renowned for its kitchen, and world-class chefs.
You are in for a treat, and the food will be a big part of the support you will get to help you ground, recharge and work with the medicine.
The Amara Kitchen team will be offering delicious vegan food, using local and homegrown ingredients from their garden, combining fresh and Mediterranean flavours always with a twist of world cuisine.
The food reflects the importance of a clean, vibrant diet when doing Plant Medicine work.
