Ritual Cacao is an ethical ceremonial- grade cacao company…
The mission of Ritual Cacao is to reposition ceremonial-grade cacao as a respected plant medicine that supports physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, while preserving and sustaining indigenous farming communities and their traditional practices
Rebekah is the Founder and CEO of Ritual Cacao Ltd, a ceremonial-grade cacao company that sources directly from indigenous communities in the Choco Andino bioreserve, Ecuador. The cacao is grown by small-scale farmers using traditional agricultural methods and consists exclusively of organic, non-GMO, ancient heirloom cacao varieties.
Ritual Cacao is cultivated in small holdings known as chakras, where cacao grows alongside other plants and trees as part of a biodiverse ecosystem. It is organically grown, free from herbicides and pesticides, non-GMO, fairly traded, and made solely from ancient heirloom beans. Farmers are paid directly to ensure fair and transparent compensation.
By paying a fair price, the farmers are able to protect their territory from logging, and other environmentally damaging industries.
Working closely with local experts, we ensure that every step, from planting to fermentation, honours both the land and the lineage of cacao. By choosing Ritual Cacao, you support a movement to protect Ecuador’s ancestral cacao from hybridisation and ecological destruction, and help preserve native forests, empower indigenous growers, and safeguard ancient wisdom.
We believe that indigenous knowledge is essential for the preservation of our natural world, and ensures we keep our planet healthy for future generations.
This is not just cacao. This is cacao grown in harmony with the Earth
