Summer Bliss With Ritual Cacao

Summer is finally here with long days and short nights and lots more parties and socialising.

While it’s great fun, it can also be exhausting, especially if lots of alcohol is consumed.

One powerful and overlooked way to feel more energised, focused and loved up is by incorporating Ritual Cacao into your day.

The Magic of Ritual Cacao

Cacao, often referred to as "food of the gods," has been revered for centuries for its profound health benefits and heart-opening properties. Unlike commercial chocolate, our ceremonial grade Ritual Cacao is non GMO, organically grown, made from heirloom beans, with nothing added, which means it retains all its powerful goodness, making it a superfood in its truest form.

Benefits of Drinking Ritual Cacao

  1. Natural Energy Boost: Cacao contains theobromine, a gentle stimulant that provides a sustained energy boost without the jitters associated with caffeine. This can help you keep up with the festival pace without crashing.

  2. Mood Enhancement: Cacao is rich in phenethylamine and anandamide, compounds that promote feelings of happiness and well-being. This can enhance your overall festival experience, allowing you to fully immerse in the joyful atmosphere.

  3. Heart Health: The flavonoids in cacao support cardiovascular health by improving blood flow and reducing inflammation. This means more stamina and endurance for dancing the night away.

  4. Mindfulness and Connection: The ritual of preparing and drinking cacao can be a meditative practice, grounding you in the present moment and fostering a deeper connection with yourself and others.

Ways to Incorporate Cacao into Your Daily Summer Routine

1. Morning Ritual: Start Your Day with Intention

  • Begin your festival day by setting an intention. Prepare your cacao by heating water and blending it with ceremonial-grade Ritual Cacao, a pinch of chili, cinnamon, and a touch of natural sweetener. As you drink, visualise the energy and joy you wish to bring into your day.

2. Midday Pause: Re-energise and Refocus

  • Festivals can be overwhelming with their constant stimuli. Take a midday break to drink cacao and meditate. This can help you re-energise and refocus, ensuring you stay grounded and present throughout the day.

3. Evening Wind Down: Reflect and Relax

  • After a day of festivities, wind down with a calming cacao drink. Reflect on the experiences of the day, the connections made, and the experience you had. This practice can help you integrate the day's events and prepare for a restful night.

Our Crumbles are the easiest way to enjoy Ritual Cacao when time is short.

We understand the frustration when cacao is calling, but you don’t have time to prepare or cook a brew, so we created Ritual Cacao Crumbles.

This is a simple, instant way to enjoy a rich and nourishing cup of our delicious cacao in minutes.

Made from the same 100% pure ceremonial-grade Ecuadorian cacao as our chunks and blocks, our Crumbles are simply crumbled for you, so you don’t have too.

Expect a full-bodied cup with earthy depth and subtle notes of natural bitter sweetness, with no additives, sweeteners or preservatives.

Unlike highly processed instant cacao powders, our ceremonial-grade cacao retains the bean’s natural texture and oils. As a result, some natural texture or small cacao particles may remain in the final cup.

Our Fino de Aroma cacao is sourced directly from smallholder farmers in the lush, fertile lands of the Chocó Andino region of Ecuador. Renowned for its exceptional quality, refined aroma and complex flavour, this is cacao of the highest standard.
